CODE OF CONDUCT
For in-person sessions, safety and security for all involved is a priority for us.
For that reason, we ask all of our clients to read and abide to all the points outlined in this Code of Conduct prior to starting in-person cuddle therapy sessions.

Ability to consent and engage in cuddle therapy services:

The client can verify that they are 18 years of age or older. If younger, a signed consent form will be required from a parent or guardian.

The client agrees to be free of any substances such as drugs or alcohol during the sessions;

The client agrees to fully disclose any diagnoses or conditions that may affect their cuddling session;

The client and cuddlers agree to practice consent and attention to personal boundaries at all times;

Before, during and after sessions, the client and cuddlers agree to keep in communication about what is mutually comfortable throughout each cuddling session.
Privacy:

Client confidentiality and privacy will be respected at all times. Confidentiality will only be breached if a crime is committed or if the client is believed to be a threat to themselves or others;

Safety:

This is a strictly platonic service. Both the client and cuddlers agree not to pursue or encourage sexual arousal;

Minimum clothing of a shirt and shorts that cover the top half of the thighs and are suitable to be worn in public are required;

No touching in the undergarment area is permitted. No intentional genital stimulation of any kind is allowed;

No kissing, exchanging of saliva or any other bodily fluid is permitted in any way;

Texting, calling or messaging the cuddlers for reasons other than the scheduling of appointments and general inquiries is discouraged;
-
The client or cuddlers may end the session at any time.
Feelings of attachment:

If, at any point, the cuddlers feel that the client is developing feelings of attachment towards them, they may discuss this with the client and ask to put a hold on the sessions;

Clients are not permitted to ask the cuddlers on a romantic date;

Clients are asked to check in with how they are feeling and to openly communicate with the cuddlers if they are having romantic feelings, feelings of attachment or a feeling of craving/dependency with the cuddling sessions.
Hygiene:

The client and the cuddlers each agree to be respectful of personal hygiene. Each party is required to take a shower and brush their teeth within 12 hours of the session, wear clean clothes, and freshen up with deodorant and/or breath freshener right before the start of the session;

Cologne or perfume is asked to be kept to a minimum.
Rules & regulations due to covid-19:

At the earliest sign, the client and cuddlers are required to disclose if they are experiencing any of the symptoms of covid-19 or mild flu-like symptoms;

The client and cuddlers are required to disclose if they have travelled outside the province and outside of the country within the past 14 days;

The client and cuddlers are required to disclose if they have had close contact with a person with confirmed covid-19 in the last 20 days;
-
For in-person sessions, clients are required to disclose if they are part of the vulnerable population or over the age of 65;
-
For in-person sessions, all parties are required to wash their hands at the start of each session and wear a mask throughout the session;
-
Proof of double vaccination is required.
Fees & cancellations:

We ask that the fee for each session be paid in full by the end of each session;

We require a 24-hour notice of cancellation in order for clients to receive a refund. Within 24 hours, clients will receive a 50% refund.
Breach of conduct:

The cuddlers will leave and further services will be cancelled after two warnings of breach of conduct, with no possibility of refunds;

In the case of sexual abuse or misconduct, the client will be reported.
